Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kejadian Anemia Pada Remaja Putri di Langkat
Abstract
Anemia in teenage girl worldwide is still quite high, with a prevalence ranging from 40-88%. Many factors are thought to be the cause, namely consumption of Fe tablets, sleep patterns, diet, and irregular menstrual cycles. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of anemia in teenage girl. Method : This type of research is analytic research with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted at Airlangga Junior High School, Namu Ukur, Langkat Regency. The study population was 72 people and all were sampled. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using Chi-Square test with a confidence level of 95% ( = 0.05) . Result : The results showed that the factors associated with the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls at Airlangga Junior High School in Namu Ukur, Langkat Regency were consumption of Fe tablets (p = 0.000), sleep patterns (p = 0.001), diet (p = 0.002), menstrual cycle (p = 0.016). This shows that the occurrence of anemia in teenage girl is associated with not consuming Fe tablets, poor sleep patterns, poor diet and irregular menstrual cycles. Conclusion :Based on the results of the study, the advice that can be recommended is for School Principals and Teachers of Air Langga Private Junior High Schools in Namu Ukur Village, Langkat Regency to work together with Health Institutions such as the Namu Ukur Health Center.
