Abstract

Breastfeeding is recognized as one of the most powerful influences on child survival, growth and development. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of breast milk dams in post-partum mothers at BPM Fatimah. The results of the study explained that breast milk dam was related to the breastfeeding factor on demand, the incidence of breast milk dam was related to breast care activities during pregnancy and the incidence of breast milk dam was related to the shape of the mother's post partum nipples.
