Abstract

Pregnancy is a natural and physiological process. Every woman who has a healthy reproductive organ, who has menstruated, and has sex with a man whose reproductive organs are healthy, is very likely to experience a pregnancy by attending a class of pregnant women so that pregnant women will feel more comfortable in delivering the objectives of this study. Relationship between the Participation of Pregnant Women in the Class of Pregnant Women and Preparedness in Facing Labor in the Hiliganowo Village District of TelukSubdistrict in South Nias Regency in 2020.This study uses a quantitative research design with cross sectional research. all pregnant women in the Hiliganowo Village District of TelukSubdistrict in South Nias Regency were 30 pregnant women, with a total sampling technique of 30 people in this study. Data analysis techniques were carried out using chi-square test statistical analysis.Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the participation of pregnant women in the class of pregnant women with readiness to face labor in the Hiliganowo Village District, TelukDalam, South Nias Regency in 2020, with a p value = 0.001 (p <0.05).For health workers to better introduce the concept of class activities for pregnant women to the community and the benefits obtained by pregnant women while taking classes in pregnant women and improve the quality of the implementation of classes for pregnant women.
