Abstract

According to World Helath Organization (WHO) Family Planning (KB) is an action that helps individuals or married couples to get certain objectives, avoid unwanted births, get births that are desired, regulate intervals between pregnancies and control the time of birth in a husband relationship wife. There are three indicators related to family planning in the MDGs which are expected to contribute to efforts to improve maternal health. These indicators are the Contraceptive Prevalence Rate (CPR), Age Specific Fertility Rate (ASFR), and unmet need. Most people choose injectable birth control because it is cheap, very effective, has no effect on husband and wife and has no influence on breast milk. The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency distribution of injecting family planning acceptors in Central Teupah District, Teupah Tengah District, Aceh Simeulue Regency in 2019. Descriptive research method with cross sectional design. The results of the research on the characteristics of injecting family planning acceptors: the majority of high school education was 46 people (66.7%), the majority were not working as many as 43 people (62.3%), most of the acceptors aged 26-35 years were as many as 41 people (59 , 4%), and most of the Multipara acceptors were 42 people (60.9%).
