Abstract

Repeat immunization (booster) is the provision of immunity after basic immunization or to elementary school (SD) grade I children and if up to 5 years of age the child has never received hepatitis B immunization, then immediately given Hepatitis immunization with a schedule of 3 times. This research is an analytical study with a cross sectional research design. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers who have children aged 2-3 years about giving Booster immunization in Pakkat Hauagong Village in 2019. The number of research samples is 30 people. The data collection method uses primary data, namely by means of structured interviews in the form of questionnaires and secondary data. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between the knowledge of mothers who have children aged 2-3 years about giving Booster immunization in Pakkat Hauagong Village in 2019. There is no relationship between the attitudes of mothers who have children aged 2-3 years about giving Booster immunization in Pakkat Hauagong Village in 2019 .
