Abstract

Hyperemesis gravidarum is a pregnant mother who has an excessive vomiting nausea, can cause disruption of daily activities that endanger the health of the fetus and mother, can even cause death. This research aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the BPM Riska year 2019. This research uses crossectional design. The population in this study was all of the I trimester pregnant mothers at the BPM Riska as much as 129 people and samples of 56 people. Data analysis using Chi Square test. The results of the study have an age relationship (P = 0.001), the work (P = 0,007) with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in pregnant women and no parity relationship (P = 1,000) with the occurrence of hyperemesis gravidarum. It is expected that the expectant mother can take the time to follow the counseling organized by the health worker at the BPM Riska about hyperemesis gravidarum so that it can improve the knowledge, attitudes and skills of the KB acceptor of hyperemesis gravidarum.
